The Department of Transportation has announced a project to upgrade traffic signals at various locations across the state. Groton, Ledyard, and New London will receive upgrades at the following locations:
- Groton- U.S. Route 1 at Fishtown Road & Noank Ledyard Road (Intersection No. 058-216)
- Groton- Route 349 at Benham Road (Intersection No. 058-229)
- Groton- U.S. Route 1 at Ring Drive& Vocational School Drive (Intersection No. 058-234)
- Groton-Route 842 at Buddington Road (Intersection No. 058-258)
- Groton-Route 184 at Antonio Road (Intersection No. 058-260)
- Groton-Route 184 at Tollgate Road (Intersection No. 058-264)
- Groton- I-95 SB Ramps at Route 117 (North Road) (Intersection No. 058-275)
- Groton- U.S Route 1 at Central Ave & Athletic Fields Drive (Intersection No. 058-276)
- Groton- SR 649 (Poquonnock Road) at Route 649 (High Rock Road) (Intersection No. 058-277)
- Ledyard-Route 12 at Military Highway & Shopping Center Drive (Intersection No. 071-205)
- Ledyard-Route 12 at Hurlbutt Road & Shopping Center Drive (Intersection No. 071-228)
- New London-Route 437 at State Pier Road & Crystal Ave (Intersection No. 094-221)
