The Gold Star Memorial Bridge Rehabilitation Project on I-95 Northbound will begin on Monday, Feb. 28.
The work requires the closing of a right or left shoulder and adjacent lane on I-95 Northbound while construction is done below the deck surface on the truss sections of the bridge. This project is anticipated to be completed by June 25, 2025.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Beginning Monday, right or left shoulders and the adjacent lane on I-95 Northbound at the Gold Star Memorial Bridge will be closed daily, Monday through Thursday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
On or after April 1, 2022, the left shoulder and adjacent lane will be closed continuously for the construction season or until further notice. This will reduce the Gold Star Memorial Bridge to four lanes in the Northbound direction on I-95 for extended periods of time.
Motorists are advised to use caution and maintain a safe speed when driving through work zones.
