Fighting for Safer Roads in Our Community
August 23, 2022Anyone who has traveled between Newtown and Bethel along Route 302/Sugar Street has driven through the sharp curve near Hattertown and Dodgingtown Road. With a recent uptick in accidents, I worked with the Persaud family and State Department of Transportation to install chevron signs along the curve in concert with road paving. Our efforts in tandem with the Newtown Police Department and Rep. Bolinsky was successful.
I am committed to finding other ways we can enhance safety on this road.
