Town of East Hartford Offices Closed for Indigenous People's Day

All town offices, including the East Hartford Transfer Station, will be closed Monday, October 10, 2022 in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. All town offices will reopen on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 for regularly scheduled hours of operation. Curbside trash pickup and recycling will not be delayed by one day and will follow its normal scheduled hours.

The normal transfer station schedule is as follows:  Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 PM (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 PM (holidays excluded). The transfer station is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Please be advised, because the Town of East Hartford outsourced its waste collection to All American Waste, curbside trash and recycling will remain on schedule and residents should not expect any delays.
