Speaker of the House Matt Ritter and House Majority Leader Jason Rojas announced the appointments of Rep. Matt Blumenthal as House Chair of the Government Administration and Elections Committee, Rep. Quentin “Q” Williams as House Chair of the Labor Committee and Rep. Geoff Luxenberg as House Chair of the Housing Committee.

Speaker Ritter and Majority Leader Rojas also announced a new commission on Connecticut’s renewable energy future to be chaired by Rep. Robyn Porter.
