Newly Elected State Representative Marcus Brown Sworn In At State Capitol
Democratic State Representative Marcus Brown was sworn in last week at the State Capitol for his first term representing the 127th District, which covers Bridgeport.
The swearing-in ceremony took place in the House chamber.
"It is honor to represent the constituents in the 127th District and I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle," said Rep. Brown.
Rep. Brown was appointed Vice Chair of the General Law Committee and will serve on the Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee for the 2023 Legislative Session.
