Health Equity Week, Job Opportunities at the Hub, and Upcoming Events at Ferguson Library

March 31, 2023
Starting Monday, you are going to hear a lot about Health Equity Week! It's a week dedicated to campaigning for equitable health care access and fighting health care inequality.

This year's main focus is lay health workers. These are workers who provide non-clinical health care like peer support specialists, community health workers, or doulas.

STUDY TO IMPROVE BELOVED LIBRARY
The Ferguson Library is taking some steps to improve its facilities. The library has hired an architecture firm to conduct a study to reimagine its space, improve its service, and provide better customer service.

The library will also be evaluating the Harry Bennett as well as the South End and Weed Memorial & Hollander branches with input form the public, staff, and library boards.

This project reaffirms the library's commitment to being a welcoming space that remains a valuable asset to the community.

The Ferguson Library is hosting a series of great events in April starting with:
