March's 109th Spotlight

March 31, 2023

This month, I want to highlight the Holiday Diner (123 White Street) an establishment Kathleen, Khloë, and I are frequent patrons of. Whether I'm with my family or catching up with friends, my visits here never fail to bring me joy. There's something special about the atmosphere and delicious food that makes this a regular spot for me. From experience, I can say that this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Danbury.

In renovating the diner, the Psarofagis Family made an investment not only just in the restaurant but in our community. I was pleased to join Senator Kushner in presenting them with a citation on March 13th for their grand re-opening after being closed for two months.

While the Psarofagis Family has owned the Holiday Diner for 23 years, it has been a staple in Danbury for 75 years. There are a variety of food options ranging from classic breakfast dishes to burgers and sandwiches, which you can check out here. While it's always difficult to decide what to get, you can never go wrong with trying their monthly milkshake special. Khloë sings her praise for March's special, the churro milkshake.

At the Holiday Diner, you'll be greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, making you feel instantly at ease as you step inside. It's a great place to dine regardless of the occasion and after one visit, you'll be sure to come back.
