We are raising awareness about preventing child abuse and neglect on my weekly public affairs radio show, “Let’s Talk About it.” Willimantic Police Sergeant Joshua Clark and his wife Crystal Nieves joined us to talk about a task force called “In Windham They Are All Our Children.” Their goal is to empower people to help children who are being neglected.
There was a great turnout on Saturday, April 8 for the "Take Time To Play" event at Memorial Park. Around 200 kids danced, played games, enjoyed giveaways, and so much more. Thank you to everyone involved for putting on this awesome event!
