Visit to CREC Discovery Academy

As a member of the Education Committee, I got a chance to visit CREC's Discovery Academy on Tuesday with my legislative colleagues and I was blown away.

It was a delight to meet students, teachers, parents, and administrators and learn how as a community they are improving outcomes for kids. A special bonus was seeing fellow Southington High School Class of '93, Kurt Stanco, who is the school's principal.
