Let's Talk About It: Upcoming Events in Willimantic
April 14, 2023We talked about all the exciting, upcoming events at the Windham Textile and History Museum as well as the Moulton Court complex on my weekly public affairs radio show, “Let’s Talk About It.”
Kira Holmes, the Executive Director from the Windham Textile and History Museum, previewed several events including a special exhibit called “Here All Along: African Americans in Northeast Connecticut Before the Great Migration, the Earth Day Plant Sale, and the “Drop-in Spinning Bee” program with Peggy Church.
Phoebe Godfrey also joined the show to provide more details about an art pop-up show called “Trigger Warning! Shadows and Reflections Art Show!” It will take place on May 5-7 at the Moulton Lava Gallery at Moulton Court. The show creates a space to talk about mental health and the healing journey.
