The Connecticut DMV and the Connecticut Emissions Program are working to move to an electronic reminder notification system. This means that instead of getting postcard reminders for emissions tests, you can now get automatic electronic reminders via text, email, or both. You will receive notifications 45 days, 30 days, 15 days, and one day before your due date.
I highly encourage you all to register for this service so you are aware when your test is due and you do not have to pay a late fee. To register, you need your email, phone number, and VIN. You can sign up for the reminders HERE. |
