The water taxi cruise is a one-hour hop-on hop-off harbor cruise that connects the towns of Groton and New London.
The funding for the water taxi cruise has doubled from the last budget, when $100,000 was allocated for fiscal years 2022 and 2023.
The Thames River water taxi cruise is a staple of our community, bringing us together to learn more about our towns while witnessing the natural beauty of the river. I’m thrilled to see that this year’s budget gives the cruise the funding it deserves, and encourage the residents of Groton and New London to take full advantage of this wonderful experience. |
