Along with securing an additional $12.6 million for Danbury Public Schools in Education Cost Sharing (ECS) funds, I've also successfully obtained funding for several important organizations and projects in our district, which include the following:

• $230,000 for the Afghanistan Iraq Veterans War Monument Fund
• $150,000 grant for the Danbury PAL
• $50,000 grant for Danbury Youth Baseball
• $50,000 grant for Friends of the Danbury Museum & Historical Society Authority
• $50,000 grant for Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut

These initiatives will positively impact our community by allowing these organizations to fill the gap created by the lack of programs and services for our children on the municipal level.

I want to extend my gratitude to all those who worked tirelessly to ensure we were able to secure this funding. A special thanks goes to my Democratic colleagues in the state legislature who came together to make this happen. In the upcoming weeks, the Danbury Democratic Delegation will be sharing additional funding we secured. 

I also want to take a moment to acknowledge our partners in these incredible organizations for their unwavering support. It's thanks to their tireless advocacy that we're able to make this a reality. Together, we are making a real difference for Danbury!
