On Thursday, I supported my colleague State Rep. Maryam Khan (D-Hartford, South Windsor, Windsor) as she heroically and harrowingly recounted the recent assault against her as she attended Eid services in Hartford with her family and children.

It was difficult and sad to listen to Rep. Khan, but I joined many of my other colleagues in solidarity to support our dear colleague during this unimaginably difficult time. 

Please keep her in your prayers as she heals physically and emotionally from this terrible incident.
