On Thursday, August 10, I will host a legislative update event with Windsor Locks First Selectman Paul Harrington. The event will be held at the Windsor Locks Senior Center at 10:30 am. First Selectman Harrington and I will be available to discuss updates to the center, as well as legislation from last session that will benefit seniors. Please join us!

CTDOT announced that a pavement marking project will be performed on State Routes within District 1 starting on August 6 through November 30, 2023.

The project consists of pavement marking grooves and epoxy pavement marking applications on center lines, shoulder lines and handwork. 291E and 291W in Windsor will be impacted. 
 
No work will be performed the day before or day after all State recognized holidays.
 
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Traffic control personnel, sign patterns, cones, and truck mounted attenuators will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday – Friday on secondary routes and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Friday on expressways.
