Dear Neighbor,

This week, I had an excellent visit to the Nesso Group on Canal Street, which hosted a local business networking event promoted by the Southington Chamber of Commerce. It was great to catch up with Chamber friends, tour the facility, and learn about the Nesso Group and the broad array of integrated insurance and financial services it offers. The business’ beautiful workspace, top-notch operation, and talented leadership team were quite impressive.

CBIA Legislator Ratings

The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), the state’s largest business association, has released its annual legislative ratings for lawmakers. I earned a 100% rating based on my votes for key business issues CBIA tracked during the 2023 legislative session. My voting record was one of the best to foster growth of both Connecticut's and Southington’s economic competitiveness and positive business climate. I am very proud to support our state and town’s business community.
