Join the League of Conservation voters Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Bushnell Theater for their day-long environmental summit from 9:30am-3:30pm. Participation can be done in-person or virtually.

 
Meet Paralympian Hopeful Cassie Grenier!

Cassandra “Cassie” Grenier was hiking in the Grand Teton mountains when she was caught in a dangerous landslide. While Cassie's life was spared, her body was not. Traumatic brain injury and shattered eye orbits were just part of what Cassie has endured. Yet seven years after the accident, the now visually impaired young woman, has a zest for life and love of the great outdoors. Cassie became a national champion in visually impaired alpine skiing, and she is an aspiring hopeful for going for a gold medal as a Paralympian in the 2026 Paralympic games in Italy. Her parents, Diane and Mike Grenier live in Rocky Hill. Come learn about their dreams of Olympic Gold!

 
Governor's Prevention Partnership Presentation on Current Trends in Youth Substance Use
On Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 6-7:30pm, the Governor's Prevention Partnership will provide a critical training on youth substance trends. The event will cover the latest information on alcohol, cannabis, vaping, and more to provide insight on the risks involved and how they impact youth.
