Cassandra “Cassie” Grenier was hiking in the Grand Teton mountains when she was caught in a dangerous landslide. While Cassie's life was spared, her body was not. Traumatic brain injury and shattered eye orbits were just part of what Cassie has endured. Yet seven years after the accident, the now visually impaired young woman, has a zest for life and love of the great outdoors. Cassie became a national champion in visually impaired alpine skiing, and she is an aspiring hopeful for going for a gold medal as a Paralympian in the 2026 Paralympic games in Italy.
