Keudy Martinez is sworn in as the state's new Kid Governor!

Keudy Martinez is a fifth-grade student at Chase Elementary School and was elected by more than 10,000 of his peers to serve as Connecticut's 2025 Kid Governor. Keudy was one of seven finalists, who each submitted a video highlighting their campaign platform.

During his term in office, Keudy will focus on addressing school safety, including stopping bullying, encouraging fifth graders to start mental health awareness groups, and promoting buddy systems in schools to ensure no one feels alone.

Congratulations Keudy! Waterbury is so proud of you and is here to support your leadership as the 2025 CT Kid Governor.
