Detours on West Main Street This Weekend

Please avoid West Main Street between Thomaston Avenue and Sperry Street this weekend as crews tear down what’s left of the old railroad bridge that spans the road. As you can see in the image below, fences line the sidewalks near the aging bridge.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is setting up detours on West Main Street from now through Monday. I urge drivers to find an alternate route to avoid delays this weekend.
