I’m excited to share something meaningful with you and invite you to be part of it.
On Saturday, December 13th, I’m hosting the Fresh Start Fair at Michael’s Tap Room in Bethel from 11 AM to 3 PM, in partnership with the Bethel Chamber of Commerce and Bethel Economic Development. Together, we’re bringing local employers, training programs, youth organizations, and community partners under one roof to help residents explore job opportunities, new skills, mentorship, and second-chance support. |

While the fair includes resources for individuals rebuilding after setbacks, it is fully open to everyone, students, job seekers, people changing careers, residents looking for guidance, and anyone interested in new opportunities or a new beginning.
This event also carries personal significance for me.
Six months ago, I made a serious mistake.
I accepted responsibility, paid restitution, and used this time to reflect and grow. I’m not interested in rushing past it or pretending it didn’t happen. Instead, I want to turn that experience into something constructive for the community.
If my setback can help create opportunities for others, whether they’ve done their time, lost a job, are switching careers, or are simply ready for a next step, then something positive can come from a difficult chapter.
This event is free, inclusive, and meant for the whole community.
Whether you’re seeking opportunities, offering them, or simply supporting neighbors starting new chapters, you are welcome.
