Aquarion Community Meeting on Hemlocks Water Main Phase 1
June 22, 2026I wanted to let you know about a meeting this Wednesday regarding the Hemlocks Water Main project. This project will impact our district, so I encourage residents to attend, if possible.
Aquarion Water Company is holding a community meeting on Wednesday, June 24, at 6 p.m., at Patterson Club, 1118 Cross Highway in Fairfield, regarding Hemlocks Water Main Phase 1, to improve system reliability throughout the system. This is a large transmission project, spanning from Fairfield to Westport.
Construction will require significant temporary street closures, traffic detours, etc.
The construction phase will begin this summer and continue through the rest of 2026 and into 2027.
