Dear Neighbor,
Last week’s celebration of The Barnes Museum’s 50th anniversary was nothing short of inspiring. I was honored to present a citation on behalf of the Southington delegation commemorating this milestone.
The new exhibit, “50 Objects for 50 Years,” beautifully captures the Barnes family legacy and Southington’s rich history. A special thank you to Museum Director Christina Volpe, whose vision and leadership guided this project, and to the museum’s summer interns, who took the lead in researching, curating, and creating the exhibit under her direction. Their creativity and dedication shine through every artifact on display. |

If you haven’t yet visited, I highly recommend stopping by to see this remarkable collection, a tribute to the people and moments that have shaped Southington for generations.
