IT’S OFFICIAL!  Last Saturday, I attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Southington Public Library. It was a wonderful celebration for our town. We were joined by Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz and more than 100 residents as community officials inaugurated the new building.

It was a chilly, but delightful evening at the Bright Lights Christmas Festival last week, where residents gathered for fun activities and to illuminate our Town Green for the holiday season. Thank you to the sponsors and volunteers who made the event possible.

This Saturday, December 14, we honor and remember the sacrifices of our heroes by participating in Wreaths Across America Day. Laying wreaths at veterans' graves reminds us of their service and keeps their legacy alive. Let's strive to honor, teach, and remember.
