Dive Into Summer at Waterbury's New Community Pools

Summer is officially here, and Waterbury is proud to unveil two brand-new, outdoor recreational pools. They are beautifully designed to serve our families, friends, and neighbors for generations to come. 

Fulton Park celebrated its grand opening last weekend with an outpouring of community pride and joy. Now, I'm excited to share the Washington Park pool will officially open this Saturday!

Both locations are more than just pools, they are state-of-the-art community hubs that offer:

  • Modernized pump and pool houses
  • Gazebos and shaded areas for relaxation and comfort
  • Zero-depth entry and accessibility ramps with handrails for easy access

These new amenities are thoughtfully designed to ensure safe, inclusive, and welcoming recreation for residents of all ages and abilities.

This investment in our city's future comes on the heels of last summer's successful renovation of the Hamilton Park pool, meaning Waterbury families now have three top-tier outdoor pools to choose from all summer long.
