Just a reminder to mark your calendars! The 10th Annual Gathering is happening this Saturday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Library Park in downtown Waterbury! This one-of-a-kind celebration brings together community, culture, and connection in the most vibrant way possible — and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
The Gathering began as a simple idea: bring together all of Waterbury’s ethnic communities to celebrate their rich heritage in one place. Ten years later, it has grown into one of the most anticipated cultural festivals in the region, a joyful, inclusive event that unites thousands of people through the universal languages of music, dance, food, and tradition.
🎶 What to Expect:
- A parade of nations showcasing the beauty of global cultures
- Delicious food from around the world
- Live music and dazzling dance performances on four stages
- Unique cultural experiences like monk chanting, belly dancing, drumming, and more
- A high-energy, family-friendly vibe with something for everyone!
📍 Getting There:
Free parking is available off the I-84 ramp at Field and Bank Streets. We recommend arriving early as last year’s festival welcomed more than 15,000 visitors.
Whether you come for the food, the performances, or the sense of unity that fills the air, The Gathering is a powerful reminder of the beauty found in diversity. Come celebrate with us and be part of something truly special.
