On this Thanksgiving, I wish to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. In this season of reflection, I am especially thankful for friends like you, the joy of shared moments, and the support that surrounds us.

Our community is strong thanks to our residents and everyone working together to make Waterbury a great place to live. I would like to recognize the staff and volunteers at St. Vincent DePaul Mission Food Pantry. They distributed about 160 turkeys with all the fixings along with groceries to those in need.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Organizers at St. Vincent DePaul, on Baldwin Street, will offer a free lunch on Thanksgiving day, and I'll be there to distribute food. It is always a privilege to help them deliver these meals, and I am grateful for their dedication especially during the holiday season. 

None of this is possible without the support from Connecticut Foodshare, the United Way of Greater Waterbury, Knights of Columbus Councils, Connecticut Junior Republic, CO Sport Academy, and many benefactors who had food drives and provided financial support. 

May your Thanksgiving be filled with the love of family and the company of good friends as we all cherish these moments of togetherness and celebrate the blessings that make life special.

I am thankful for the opportunity to work for you in Hartford. It is a true honor to represent you.
