The entire community is invited to the 10th Annual Gathering, a vibrant celebration of culture, community, and connection in downtown Waterbury. The largest multi-cultural and award winning festival in New England includes a parade, food vendors, live music, dance performances, and a diverse lineup of local vendors.

 

The Gathering is designed to unite the diverse array of cultures, traditions, and ethnicities that make up the melting pot of Waterbury. Through music, food, art, and cultural showcases, this event fosters a sense of unity and pride, highlighting the contributions of each group while promoting cross-cultural understanding and respect.   Approximately 110 countries participated in last year's event, and organizers estimate that more than 15,000 people attended, which was a record. I hope this number will continue to grow and to see you there next Saturday!
