I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a holiday season filled with joy, kindness, and hope for the year ahead.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Salvation Army for its tireless efforts in providing many vital services to those in need. On Monday, I had the privilege of braving the bitter cold for three hours to ring the bell as part of the Red Kettle Campaign, which raises funds for the organization's year-round social services.
It was a pleasure to meet some new faces and reconnect with old friends while lending a hand to support the incredible work of the Salvation Army. Sharing stories, laughter, and a shared commitment to helping others made the experience even more meaningful.
Please consider donating to this worthy cause if you have the means to do so. The Salvation Army’s facility on Central Avenue is currently at capacity, with all 32 beds occupied during the holiday season.
I am especially grateful for the Salvation Army’s commitment to keeping parents and their children together during these difficult times. Your support can make a tangible difference in their lives while allowing the organization to sustain its programs.
Thank you to Major Brian Merchant for hosting the campaign in Waterbury and nearby communities. You are making a huge difference every single day.
