Goodbye to a great public servant
Governor M. Jodi Rell passed away. During my city council race back in 2007 I quipped to a reporter that I would send Governor Rell flowers as part of an effort to improve relations between the city and state...I did and received a nice handwritten note from her that still hangs on in my office. She embodied the spirit of our State Capitol - we all work together to do better work.
