House Majority Endorses Ritter and Rojas as Leadership
I am extremely grateful for my colleagues' support…tonight, they asked me to serve another term as Speaker of the House. As Speaker my job is to serve every member of the Chamber, and I take that charge very seriously. Working together, Republicans and Democrats, is what makes Connecticut great (and much different from Washington).
I will be officially elected Speaker of the House on the opening day of the 2025 legislative session in a vote by the full House of Representatives.
My partner in leadership will be Jason Rojas. As Majority Leader, Jason is elected by the House Democratic Caucus and is the second-ranking official in the House of Representatives.
