Great news! Norwalk was one of the 46 school districts in Connecticut that will receive state funding to build and expand high dosage tutoring for our students. Norwalk Public Schools has been allocated $278,200 for their program.
High-Dosage Tutoring (HDT) is a well-researched strategy to address learning loss, ensuring students have intensive, curriculum-aligned support to close academic gaps.
In total, the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) is releasing $11.5 million to 46 school districts for this program. I am thrilled that our students will be provided the help they need to succeed in their education. |
