I had a great night celebrating my dear friend Rita Elkhoury and Robert Yamin as the Lebanon-American Club of Danbury 2025 Persons of the Year! Their leadership and love for our community truly shine.
I was honored to join Mayor Roberto Alves, Senator Julie Kushner, and Treasurer Dan Jowdy in presenting official citations.
A heartfelt thank you to our strong and vibrant Lebanese community for your continued generosity, unity, and support, you are an essential part of what makes Danbury so special. |

Congratulations to Danbury Professional Fire Fighters, Local 801, IAFF on the incredible inaugural Gary Arconti Memorial Golf Outing, honoring the lasting legacy of Fire Captain Gary Arconti and his lifelong commitment to service and community.
All proceeds supported the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation, Inc. Connecticut, a cause close to the hearts of so many. Our team proudly earned the James Babcock Memorial Highest Score Award, proof that honesty really does pay off!
Thank you to every firefighter who made this event such a success and for all you do to keep Danbury safe. Proud to support your work and the spirit that defines our city. |

| Honoring Italian Heritage |
|
|
From raising the Italian flag in honor of Italian heritage and Christopher Columbus, to coffee at the Amerigo Vespucci Lodge with the “bald and beautiful” crew, and ending the night at the Columbus Day Dinner Dance at Anthony's Lake Club, it was a day full of pride, laughter, and great company.
Grateful to celebrate the rich contributions of Italians to our community! |

Supporting the arts is good for our community and good for the soul. It’s a major economic driver and I’m glad to have a mayor that understands this.
I'm proud to have secured $125,000 in state funding for the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut over the last three years, helping more than 1,600 kids in Danbury access arts programs.
Huge thanks to Lisa Scails for her incredible leadership and to all of today’s Business Supports the Arts honorees, Mini Santosh who does so much for the community, Dan Bertram, The Booksmith’s Shoppe, and the Dominican Community Center for making Danbury brighter through the arts! |

Mark your calendars for one of Danbury's most cherished traditions: the 33rd annual Halloween on the Green on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Children and their families are invited to the CityCenter Green at 1 Ives St. for a children’s costume parade, goodie bags, local vendors, music, a photo booth, and kid-friendly activities. Prizes will be awarded for Most Original, Scariest, and Cutest costumes.
Goodie bags will be given to the first 800 costumed children.
In the event of rain, Halloween on the Green will still go on, inside of the Patriot Garage, Parking Level 4. |
