Dear Neighbor,

There are events in our community coming up that I want to highlight for you.

Later this month, you can get free online training on Narcan use. Despite our efforts to fight the addiction epidemic, the opioid crisis continues to devastate communities in Connecticut. If more people know about overdose-reversing drugs like Narcan, lives will be saved and more people battling addiction will have the opportunity to take their first steps on the road to recovery.

Then, in April, the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a job fair. It's a great opportunity for anyone looking for work in our community. Businesses are looking for workers in manufacturing, healthcare, and other industries.

In this week's update, we'll go into detail on these events and more.

Have a good week,

Sincerely,

Kerry Wood
State Representative
