I am thrilled to share with you that a bill championed by our very own Lori Gates, An Act Allowing Students to Apply Sunscreen Prior to Engaging in Outdoor Activities or the Lori Gates Bill has passed the House of Representatives a few minutes ago.

The bill which has already passed the Senate would allow students to self-apply over-the-counter sunscreen products while in school prior to engaging in outdoor activities.

I am proud to represent residents that are advocates of good legislation. Thank you to all of you for giving me the honor to represent your voices here at the Capitol.
