Breaking Down the Absentee Voting for All Ballot Question

The state is preparing for the upcoming November election, which will include a ballot question asking voters to permit absentee voting for all. I encourage you to support the measure because it will make voting more accessible, secure, and efficient for taxpayers as well as those administering our elections for years to come.

If the measure passes, the Connecticut General Assembly will be permitted to craft, raise, and pass a new bill detailing what conditions will allow constituents to obtain an absentee ballot. This move will increase voter turnout, reduce fraud, save the state money, and increase trust in our democracy.
