We have lost many lives in Hartford due to high-speed driving and we must allow local authorities to lower speed limits without the red tape of having to go through a long process at the state level. I think it's important that cities and towns in the state of Connecticut have the ability to lower speed limits as they see fit for the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
