Non-Profit Funding Announced for Waterbury
April 19, 2024Some great news announced by Governor Lamont. There are four non-profits in Waterbury who are receiving funding through the Non-Profit Grant Program.
The non-profits are:
- Waterbury Youth Services - $200,000 for Facility Upgrades
- Western CT Area Agency on Aging - $707,000 for IT Upgrades (To Promote Client Independence)
- Annie C. Courtney Foundation - $185,000 for the New Beginnings Property Acquisition
- Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury - $75,000 for ADA Ramp for Domestic Violence Shelter
Non-profits are essential in helping our communities, making this funding welcome news for Waterbury.
