The Tow Youth Justice Institute, along with the Commission on Women, Seniors, Children, Equity and Opportunity (CWSCEO) hosted a public forum on Wednesday titled: Understanding Disordered Eating: Prevention, Policy, and Pathways to Care.

I was proud to attend and contribute to the discussion. I was compelled to share my loved one's personal journey. After hearing it, you'll understand how the Transforming Children's Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee (TCB) came to be.

The forum featured Connecticut residents and subject matter experts who shared perspectives on eating disorders and discussed potential policy solutions aimed at reducing disordered eating.

The event was structured as a moderated conversation to raise awareness of disordered eating behaviors, highlight lived experiences, and explore public policy initiatives. Please click HERE to hear my comments.
