Dear Neighbor,

The 2025 Legislative Session has begun and my colleagues and I have gotten to work on our committees. As session continues, I am eager to share the work we are doing and ways you can be involved.

As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. Day, let's take a moment to reflect on the extraordinary legacy of a leader whose vision of justice, equality, and nonviolent resistance transformed our nation and inspired the world. Dr. King's unwavering commitment to civil rights reminds us of the power of courage, compassion, and collective action to create meaningful change.

Let us honor his memory by recommitting ourselves to the pursuit of equity, inclusion, and unity in our communities. You're invited to join the Great Bristol Branch NAACP for a Scholarship Breakfast on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 8am, at Bristol Eastern High School. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 per youth (10 and under). To purchase tickets please contact Patricia Bentley 860-637-3964/ patriciabentley82@gmail.com.
