HB 5001 Voted Out on Committee

Dear Neighbor,

Great news! The Aging Committee approved HB5001, an omnibus bill that will provide further support to our seniors. This bill will allow more seniors to age in place, increase protections in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and improve training for caregivers.

Thank you to everyone on the committee who helped make this legislation as strong as possible. I look forward to the debate in the House and Senate.
