Avelo Airlines to Offer New Flights at BDL
August 2, 2024Avelo Airlines recently announced an expansion to Bradley International Airport with seven new direct flights, including nonstop service to Montego Bay, Jamaica and Cancun, Mexico. Both flights will begin in November.

North Central CT EMS Council Receives Funding

During its meeting on Friday, the State Bond Commission approved a $400,000 grant to North Central CT EMS Council. The funding will be used to upgrade the Public Safety Dispatch Console used for Coordinated Medical Emergency Direction (CMED) in the North Central region. I requested this funding with the support of the North Central CT legislative delegation.
Honoring K9 Bocci on the House Floor
June 5, 2024During Monday's session, I had the honor to present K9 Bocci with the Sirius Courage Award. The Sirius award was named after a dog, Sirius, who courageously gave his life while on duty during the terror attack of the World Trade Center September 11, 2001. Bocci and his handler, Officer Jim Giansanti, perform daily inspections of the State Capitol and Legislative Office building.
