Hurricane Lee Weather Preparedness and Safety
November 14, 2023The Town of East Hartford is closely monitoring the approaching Hurricane Lee. The majority of the storm will pass safely to the east of Connecticut. Lee has begun to weaken and maximum sustained winds are diminishing.

CT's Presidential Primary Moved Up by Four Weeks
September 28, 2023Connecticut was lost in the forest at the end of the presidential primary season. During Tuesday’s Special Session, we took this bipartisan proposal and moved the state's presidential primary up by four weeks. This means the presidential primary will occur on the first Tuesday in April.
Wellness Day this Saturday, August 19
August 16, 2023Walmart will hold their Wellness Day on Saturday, August 19 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. This community event provides free health screenings, free and low-cost immunizations, and the opportunity to talk with a local Walmart pharmacist at more than 4,000 stores nationwide.
