Dear Neighbor,

We celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week. His words are still an inspiration to me and to all people, especially in this difficult, divisive, and challenging time.

Let us remember that  "The SILENCE of good people is more DANGEROUS than the BRUTALITY of the bad people."

Let us all stand up for the values he so eloquently expressed. If you wish, join in the celebration Monday in Danbury.

On Monday, New Hope Baptist Church in Danbury will hold a celebration in honor of Dr. King. There will be a free continental breakfast at 9 AM and the program will begin at 10 AM. For information, please send an email to info@newhopedanbury.org

If you or someone you know requires assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at the Capitol at 1-800-842-1902 or email me at Bob.Godfrey@cga.ct.gov.

Sincerely,

Bob Godfrey
