Dear Neighbor,

I hope this message finds you and your family well! It was a productive week at the Capitol with the House back in session on Wednesday. During our session, we debated and voted on executive and legislative nominations including on the Utility Commissioners of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Airport Authority.

During our session, I also took a moment to recognize some of our incredible residents here in Bristol. Tony D'Angelo, a World War II Veteran, turned 100 last weekend where I had the honor of giving him a proclamation in celebration of his achievements and Joe Caminiti traveled to Guam in March to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the battle he fought in as a member of the Amphibious Vehicles. Their achievements have not gone unnoticed and it is an honor to celebrate all that they have done.

I am wishing a happy and meaningful Passover to all who celebrate! May this season bring peace, joy, and hope for you and your family.

This week we celebrated Health Equity Week across Connecticut. This is a time to reflect on the importance of addressing disparities in healthcare and ensuring all residents have access to the care they need. Health Equity Week is a reminder of our ongoing commitment to fight for accessible and affordable healthcare for everyone. Together, we can work toward a healthier and more equitable future for all.
