Dear Neighbor,

I hope this message finds you well! It's been a productive week at the Capitol as we begin another month of our legislative session. Next week, on Wednesday, April 9th, the House will be back in session starting at 11 a.m. My colleagues and I are working diligently on legislation that will benefit and protect residents across Connecticut. As always, I remain dedicated to providing you with legislative updates, opportunities to get involved, and resources that I hope you find helpful.

This week, April 2nd,  was World Autism Awareness Day and April is Autism Awareness Month. This is an opportunity to recognize and support individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Autism is a lifelong journey that affects millions of individuals and families, of all ages and backgrounds. This month, let's continue to raise awareness and promote a more inclusive and supportive society. Let's work together to ensure that individuals on the autism spectrum are empowered to reach their full potential and create a brighter future for everyone.

Legislation is a powerful tool for change, turning hope into action and justice into reality for survivors of sexual violence. ⚖️

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is a time to stand in solidarity with survivors and advocate for change. Through the power of legislation, we’re making progress, closing legal gaps, expanding protections, and ensuring survivors have access to resources and support.

Big news from the Connecticut Department of Housing!

This week Governor Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Housing announced the launch of CT Home Funds, a series of three housing programs designed to preserve, incentivize, and increase homeownership opportunities across Connecticut.

These programs will be administered by Capital for Change and the Housing Development Fund.
