Remembering Those We Lost on 9/11

Today, we honor the memory of those we lost on 9/11 and salute the courage of the heroes who risked everything. The police, firemen, and first responders who were the first to take up the call, as well as the everyday citizens that jumped into action to help others show the amazing heart of America that will never stop beating. 

May we always remember their sacrifice and stand united in resilience and hope.

Today, all U.S. and state flags in Connecticut are at half-staff, from sunrise to sunset, in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 people who were killed. 161 of them had ties to Connecticut. Their names are memorialized below.
