WEDNESDAY: Aquarion Transmission Water Project Meeting

View this email in your browser Dear Neighbor, I want to make sure you are aware that this Wednesday, June 24 at 6pm, our water utility company, Aquarion, will be holding a community meeting at the Patterson Club (1118 Cross Hwy, Fairfield) to discuss an upcoming transmission water main project (Hemlocks Watermain Phase 1). Aquarion is saying this project is needed to improve system reliability throughout the system. The project construction will begin this summer, through the rest of 2026 and into 2027. Aquarion said construction will be significant and will require significant temporary street closures, traffic detours, etc. The community meeting will include a presentation on the project and an open discussion regarding the impact on Fairfield and Westport during the construction period. I strongly encourage you to attend this meeting so you know what to expect over the coming months! I'm committed to ensuring your voice is heard.
