COVID-19 Update: Top 10 Ways you can Help

April 6, 2020

Many of you have reached out asking what you can DO to help during this time. It is one of the things I love most about our community – the way we care for one another. My number one answer, which I will continue to repeat is that the most important thing you can do is to stay home. There are some other things you can do, almost exclusively from home, and we have compiled a "Top 10 List" below. Reach out and let me know how you do with the list.

  1. Stay Home
  2. Wear a Mask
  3. Wash your hands – Check out the World Health Organization’s techniques. Try creating new hand washing habits while you are at home. When should you wash your hands?
    • Before, during, and after preparing food
    • Before eating food
    • Before touching your eyes, nose, or mouth because that’s how germs enter our bodies.
    • Before and after caring for someone at home who is sick with vomiting or diarrhea

Chan School of Public Health, King’s College London and Stanford University School of Medicine. The app will be used to study the symptoms of COVID-19 and track the spread of this virus.
