STATE REPRESENTATIVE MORRIN BELLO SWORN IN FOR A THIRD TERM WEDNESDAY AT STATE CAPITOL

Democrat representing Wethersfield’s 28th District

 

Democrat State Representative Amy Morrin Bello was sworn-in on Wednesday in the House Chamber at the State Capitol to begin serving her third legislative term.

“It is a great honor to come back for my third term doing a job I respect and enjoy,” said Rep. Morrin Bello. “Representing my Wethersfield constituents and all state residents is a responsibility that I take seriously, and it is a reminder of the trust placed in me by voters. I look forward to continuing to work with integrity, dedication, and compassion to expand on the progress we have made.”

For the 2025 legislative session, Rep. Morrin Bello has been tapped to serve as Deputy Majority Leader.

Rep. Morrin Bello has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication skills, proving to be a committed advocate for her constituents and the state. She brings a wealth of municipal experience and a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to communities. Her expertise, leadership, and passion for public service make her an invaluable asset and I am confident she will be a great addition to my team, Majority Leader Rojas said.

In addition to this new role, Rep. Morrin Bello will continue serving as Vice-Chair of the Government, Administration and Elections Committee, and a member of the Public Health and Transportation Committees.
