The House of Representatives passed a bill that would expand the Firefighters Cancer Relief Program so that beneficiaries may be reimbursed for insurance deductibles and laboratory and diagnostic testing fees related to their diagnosis of certain types of cancer. This bill passed unanimously.

It makes me proud to work across the aisle to advocate on behalf of our firefighters who risk and sacrifice their safety to protect ours.
